چکیده :
This paper addresses the challenge of dealing with very slow or drifting sensors, which are common in certain applications and environments where measurement technology may be limited or external conditions impact sensor performance. The authors propose a modified higher derivatives gradient-based extremum seeking algorithm that takes into account and leverages the very slow sensor dynamics. The most challenging case, where sensor dynamics are characterized by a pure integrator, are also considered. The local stability of the algorithm is rigorously proven via averaging theory. Simulation results substantiate these theoretical findings.
