Current Re-use RF Receiver Front-End Topology Combinding LNA, Mixer, VCO and Frequency Divider

چکیده :
In this research, a LMVD topology (consisting of LNA, Mixer, VCO and Frequency Divider) is proposed, wherein the Divider block is stacked with the LMV circuit. Consequently, a DC current passes through all the blocks, a method known as current re-use, which leads to reduced power consumption. The generation of orthogonal signals in the VCO is achieved through a transformer. The proposed circuit is designed and simulated in a 65nm technology with an input frequency of 1.8 GHz and 1 MHz IF. The research results indicate a power consumption of 1.8 mW, from a 1.2 V supply, Noise Figure of 5.92 dB, and phase noise at the offset of 1 MHz reaching -118.36 dBC/Hz
