چکیده :
In this paper, a low power wideband CG-CS Low noise amplifier (LNA) with resistive feedback is presented. pMOS-nMOS configuration in the CS stage along with resistive feedback is used for improving the gain and establishing the CG stage noise cancelling condition which depends on their gm values. For increasing the bandwidth, an on-chip inductor in series at the output node is placed to resonate with the total parasitic capacitors of the output. The LNA is designed and simulated in 0.18 μm CMOS technology. This low-noise amplifier has reached the maximum gain of 15.4 dB in the frequency range of 0.6 to 5.4 GHz. In this range, the noise figure is between 2.32 and 4.21dB. It consumes 7.27mW of power from a 1.8V supply excluding the testing buffer.
