چکیده :
Millimeter-wave (mm-wave) imaging systems provide high-resolution, non-ionizing methods for three-dimensional object and body imaging, enabling through-clothing detection and medical examinations. In this paper, we focus on a monostatic imaging configuration and introduce a set of advanced calibration procedures and test scenarios to quantify the reconstructed images and refine the system design to improve image quality. We investigate the impacts of multipath clutter and the effect of antenna beamwidth on image quality. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods. These test scenarios can effectively model the parameters that affect the image quality of 3D objects in millimeter-wave scanners.
