Optimal Control of Rectangular Singular Systems

چکیده :

The problem of linear regulation, tracking and stochastic control for rectangular singular systems are considered. For the regulation and tracking the necessary, necessary and sufficient conditions for existence of the solution and the solution itself are obtained. It is then shown that the closed-loop system of a rectangular singular system is itself a square singular system and therefore the theorems concerning the uniqueness of the solution, stability and others which have been proved for the square singular systems can be extended to the rectangular ones. The only difference with the square singular systems is the necessary conditions for the existence of a solution. It is also shown that there are cases for which the closed-loop system has never a unique solution.
