چکیده :
This paper addresses a fundamental challenge in Simultaneous Wireless Information and Power Transfer (SWIPT) systems: the trade-off between operational bandwidth and port isolation. Targeting Wi-Fi networks at 2.4 GHz and 5.2 GHz, we propose a compact, dual-band rectenna designed to resolve this limitation. The proposed architecture employs a novel hybrid substrate stacking FR4 and PTFE layers to facilitate a proximity coupled feed mechanism. This configuration significantly en hances the impedance bandwidth of the 5.2 GHz data channel to 5.2%, a marked improvement over conventional microstrip designs, thereby enabling high-data-rate transmission. For the energy harvesting channel at 2.4 GHz, a high-sensitivity voltage doubler utilizing zero-bias Schottky diodes is integrated and optimized via Harmonic Balance analysis. Simulation results demonstrate a peak RF-to-DC conversion efficiency of 78% at an input power of 5 dBm, alongside a realized gain of 8.24 dBi. Crucially, the geometric design yields inherent port isolation exceeding 20 dB, effectively mitigating self-interference without the need for complex decoupling networks. This work presents a robust and scalable solution for self-sustaining IoT nodes in next-generation wireless networks.
