چکیده :
This paper proposes a new cascaded multilevel inverter consisting of a developed H-bridge and two input sides. First, to generate all voltage levels, five different algorithms are presented to determine the magnitudes of dc voltage sources. Then, the proposed structure is compared to the other conventional topologies to investigate the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed topology and find out the best algorithm to select the magnitudes of dc voltage sources. The results of this comparison show that the proposed topology can generate many voltage levels with fewer power switches. In the end, the experimental results for a basic unit of the proposed topology are demonstrated, and results are discussed to verify the correct performance of this topology.
