Non-Isolated Step-Up Converter Employing Switched-LC Cell Stages for High Voltage Gain and Low Semiconductor Stress

چکیده :
A non-isolated step-up topology is introduced that employs diode-switched LC (inductor-capacitor) cells, with the capability of adding additional LC stages to the structure, thereby enabling an increase in the achievable voltage gain. Analysis of previously reported converters indicates that many existing designs require very high duty cycles, impose considerable voltage stress on semiconductor devices, and rely on an excessive number of components for the level of voltage gain they deliver. To address these constraints, a new converter configuration is proposed. The presented topology is capable of achieving a pronounced voltage elevation without operating under extreme duty-cycle conditions. In addition, it markedly lowers the voltage stress applied to both switching devices and diodes, which permits the selection of lower-rated and more economical semiconductor components with reduced thermal burden.
