چکیده :
Reaction wheels are commonly employed for precise satellite attitude stabilization; however, failures may render some of the wheels non-operational. When only two wheels remain functional, the attitude dynamics remain controllable, but according to Brockett’s necessary conditions, any stabilizing control law must be either non-smooth or time-varying. Existing approaches rely on linearization or they lack rigorous stability analysis. In this paper, a method is proposed to address the tracking problem for this class of underactuated systems. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
