Design of a Robust Double-Integral Terminal Sliding Mode Controller for a Boost Converter in Fuel Cell-Based Power Systems in the Presence of Parametric Variations and External Disturbances

چکیده :
In this paper, a state-space model of the boost converter is first developed and extended to incorporate variations in input voltage, load changes, and external disturbances. This generalization aims to account for parametric uncertainties, thereby enhancing the robustness of the control system. Subsequently, a double-integral terminal sliding mode controller is designed and implemented for the boost converter in a fuel-cell-based power system application. The adoption of the double-integral terminal sliding mode approach is motivated by its superior capability to significantly reduce steady-state error while effectively suppressing the chattering phenomenon. Simulation results validate the proposed controller's performance, demonstrating substantial reduction in steady-state error, minimized chattering, and enhanced robustness against simultaneous variations in input voltage, load, and external disturbances.
