چکیده :
This paper presents a novel single-phase direct step-up AC–AC converter based on a switching-cell structure that significantly reduces magnetic component size, weight, and overall conduction losses. The proposed topology achieves continuous input and output current waveforms, thereby mitigating harmonic distortion and improving power quality. The converter maintains the phase and frequency of the input voltage while providing a fully controllable voltage gain through duty-cycle modulation, enabling stable and efficient boost operation without the need for bulky transformers. Owing to its simple structure, reduced number of bidirectional switches, and low voltage stress across semiconductor devices, the proposed converter offers high efficiency and suitability for applications such as inductive power transfer, advanced AC power-conditioning systems, and low-voltage AC energy interfaces. A comprehensive analysis of operating modes, component design, and performance characteristics is provided, followed by simulation results that validate the converter’s effectiveness in achieving high voltage gain, improved dynamic response, and enhanced power quality. Finally, the suggested converters' performance accuracy is confirmed by simulation analysis in 20V input, D = 0.7, 50kHz switching frequency, 113V output, and 250W output power.
