Low Complexity Single-Snapshot DOA Estimation Using Adaptive Filtering

چکیده :
This paper addresses the challenge of direction of arrival (DOA) estimation in single-snapshot scenarios by proposing a novel adaptive filter (AF)-based method leveraging compressive sensing principles. Using a uniform linear array, the proposed approach overcomes the limitations of conventional techniques. The proposed method does not assume any prior knowledge on the number of sources and uses a differentiable $L_0$ norm. To induce sparsity a zero attraction function is utilized in the proposed algorithm.Simulation results demonstrate that the AF algorithm outperforms conventional techniques, particularly in high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) regime.
