Mountain Gazelle Optimized PID Controller for a MIMO System with External Disturbance

چکیده :
MIMO system stands for multi-input multi-output system which have several input and outputs, in such systems any external disturbance or fault affects all the outputs. In this paper in order to control this system against external disturbances a novel approach has been proposed which consists of a PID controller based on Mountain Gazelle Optimization (MGO) algorithm which is a newly introduced optimization algorithm and it is used to obtain the optimal gains of the PID controller in order to keep the systems stability and performance under external disturbances. The proposed MGO-PID has same amount of inputs and outputs as the MIMO system. Finally the proposed method is simulated using MATLAB/Simulink 2021b and the system is examined in a normal condition and noisy condition which shows the proposed method’s superior performance.
