چکیده :
Abstract— VIENNA rectifier as a three phase, three level ac-dc converter, compared with some other three-phase rectifier has many advantages. This advantages make Vienna rectifier an excellent choice for application such as electric vehicle charging system, Wind Power Generation Systems (WPGS) and telecommunication that need high power and less THD. This paper proposes a new Discontinuous Space Vector Modulation (DSVM) method for Vienna rectifier based on circuit level decoupling. In this modulation scheme, sectors are re-divided into four sub-sectors instead of sex sub-sectors during each 60 of line cycle. The main advantage of the proposed method is that, it has self-balance of the voltage between the two output capacitors. So the balance of neutral point (NP) voltage can be achieved without any extra control loop. The inherent zero crossing problem is also eliminated in the proposed method. The proposed modulation technique and vector control system are verified by simulation model for the 10 kW Vienna rectifier in MATLAB.
