A High Linearity Wideband Low-Noise Amplifier Using Capacitor Cross-Coupled Common-Gate Structure

چکیده :
In this paper, a new highly-linear wideband structure for Low-Noise Amplifiers (LNAs) is proposed. In order to improve the linearity of the circuit, the proposed structure employs a differential topology consisting of a common-source stage and a capacitor cross-coupled common-gate (CCC-CG) amplifier. Moreover, it uses a current reused feed-forward noise cancellation technique. The proposed low-noise amplifier has been designed and simulated in a standard 0.18-μm CMOS technology. According to the circuit-level simulation results, the proposed structure presents a voltage gain of 16.30 dB, a 3.34 GHz bandwidth from 1.59 GHz to 4.93 GHz, and a maximum Third-Order Input Intercept Point (IIP3) of 0.26 dBm In addition, the proposed structure presents a minimum Noise Figure (NF) of 3.77 dB and an average NF of 4.91 dB within the bandwidth
