A Single-Switch Single-Inductor High Step-Up DC-DC Converter with Single-Input and Dual-Output Ports

چکیده :
This study introduces an innovative configuration for a dual-output high-voltage DC-DC circuit. In applications such as light-emitting diode (LED) drivers, single-input dual-output structures (SIDO) offer superior performance compared to traditional structures, eliminating the need for two separate conventional DC-DC circuits. However, SIDO is constrained by the requirement for multiple switches, resulting in higher switching losses and diminished efficiency. The salient merits of this topology include diminished voltage stress on power switches and diodes, common ground availability, and enhanced efficiency. Additionally, the diminished voltage stresses enable the use of lower-rated semiconductors, leading to cost and volume savings. To validate the theoretical propositions, a practical implementation of a 250W converter with a 50 kHz operational frequency, 20V input voltage, and load voltages of 100V and 40V has been carried out in the laboratory.
