Three-Leg AC/AC Converters :A Comprehensive Practical Overview

چکیده :
This paper focuses on examining and comparing several three-leg AC/AC converters. These converters, which utilize a three-leg topology, feature practical structures that enable the generation of a wide range of in-phase and out-of-phase outputs. Consequently, they find applications in various versatile scenarios, including constant voltage regulation (CVR), constant current regulation (CCR), dynamic voltage restorer (DVR), and even frequency conversion. After explaining the structure and operation of these converters, this paper will provide a comprehensive comparative evaluation, considering factors such as voltage gain, semiconductor switch count, quantity of passive components, switch current and voltage stress, and more. Ultimately, the paper will present the analytical conclusions drawn from these comparisons.
