چکیده :
In the Routing, Spectrum, and Modulation level assignment (RSMA) problem, resources are assigned to the service providers requests according to their requirements. This paper solves the RSMA problem jointly. Also, physical layer impairments are calculated to satisfy the quality of transmission of the signals that propagate through fiber. The considered model estimates signal degradation caused by chromatic dispersion, nonlinear signal distortion, and amplifier noise. Furthermore, the proposed algorithm satisfies the survivability requirements of demands. Our algorithm reduces spectrum fragmentation and satisfies desirable fairness in an elastic optical network. Simulation results show that our algorithm achieves 28% improvement in terms of bandwidth blocking probability when the number of requests is 125.
