چکیده :
A precise simple-expandable loser-take-all (LTA) circuit is presented. The proposed LTA has been designed and simulated in 0.18µm CMOS technology and 1.8V supply voltage. Two-path feedback mechanism is used to improve the precision of the circuit when the number of inputs is increased. The proposed LTA circuit is expandable by only three additional transistors per each cell. The post-layout simulations show the maximum error of 13.23mv at 1MHz operating frequency. The silicon area for 3-input LTA is about 10µm× 25µm and the power consumption is about 18µW.
