چکیده :
In this paper, a highly efficient, suppressed second harmonics and high gain power amplifier (PA) is presented. The fabricated PA is designed by a catch-all algorithm known as Simplified Real Frequency Technique (SRFT) method. In order to transform from lumped to distributed counterpart a fast conversion tool has been applied. To achieve a PA with lower power consumption, second harmonic termination is also applied. The PA is designed at 1.4GHz frequency to have power gain above 25dB. The efficiency of this amplifier is better than 50% and can convert more than half of total DC consumption into RF output to reach 20W linear power to operate in FSK-based systems. Measurement results also present even better performance than simulations due to some post on-circuit and simulation tunings.
