چکیده :
Abstract__The present paper discusses the optimal placement of unified Power flow (UPFC) in the power network while simultaneously considering security constraints such as voltage stability, transient stability, and economic considerations, such as production costs. Many studies have been conducted in this field so far, but none of them have considered the simultaneous effect of all constraints, with only a few constraints being investigated. However, in this article, the aim is to first properly define the desired constraint indices with sufficient reasoning and then use them in the problem formulation. Therefore, in this paper, optimal placement of integrated power controllers is attempted as one of the most important and up-to-date devices to reduce network losses, increase static and transient stability of the network, enhance transmission capacity, and provide a smoother voltage profile in order to optimize power production costs. In the end, the results obtained from simulations on the IEEE4-bus and IEEE-26 bus networks indicate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method.
