A Practical ACO-OFDM Link with an Efficient Timing Recovery Pattern

چکیده :
In this paper, to increase the accuracy of estimating timing offset for asymmetrically-clipped optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (ACO-OFDM) systems, we introduce a new frame synchronization pattern, where repetition in the time domain is used to build the new training pattern. Simulation results prove that the suggested frame synchronization provides an exact approximation of the symbol timing.
