چکیده :
This paper proposes a fully soft-switched bidirectional SEPIC/Zeta converter with an improved voltage conversion ratio (VCR) and low number of components for non-isolated DC-DC applications. A high VCR is achieved by employing a pair of coupled inductors operating in continuous conduction mode, while a small auxiliary inductor, designed to operate in triangular current mode, further increases the VCR and reduces the overall magnetic size. All the main switches achieve soft-switching, and zero-current switching at turn-off is provided for all body diodes, thereby eliminating reverse recovery losses. In addition, compared to the conventional bidirectional coupled-inductors converters, the proposed topology significantly reduces the voltage stress across the semiconductor devices, which enables the use of MOSFETs with lower drain–source on-resistance and consequently reduces conduction losses. In addition, only two magnetic cores are required. A 200-W prototype converter with a 48–380 V conversion ratio is implemented to validate the theoretical analysis and demonstrate the proposed converter operation.
