چکیده :
A continuous-time low-pass filter (CT-LPF) is presented in this paper, characterized by its exceptionally low power consumption and reduced noise performance. The quality factor (Q) of the low-pass filter (LPF) has been significantly enhanced through a feedback mechanism involving a capacitor (C_C) and transistor (M_4), facilitating the design of high-order filters. The study focuses on developing a fourth-order pseudo-differential low-pass filter specifically designed for processing electrocardiogram (ECG) detection signals. It also details the implementation of the filter using a conventional 180 nm TSMC CMOS process. With an extremely low current level and a supply voltage of just 0.5 V, the LPF achieves a cut-off frequency of 100 Hz and ultra-low power consumption of 3.34 nW. Layout analysis and simulation results indicate an input-referred noise (IRN) of 31.22 μVrms. Furthermore, the LPF's third-order intercept point (IIP3) is measured at 4.0 dBm, and its .dynamic range (DR) is found to be 54.05 dB. Notably, the active chip occupies a compact area of only 0.09 mm2
