Modeling and Control of Modular Drive of Dual-Star Three-Phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor

چکیده :
Three-phase PMSMs are widely used in highperformance applications due to their high-power density, smooth torque, and high efficiency. These motors are typicallypowered by a three-leg, six-switch VSI. In applications requiring high reliability, PMSMs with more than three phases are employed. Due to the high probability of faults in inverter,for this motor, in this case, due to the high probability of faults in inverter, using redundant independent inverters enhances fault tolerance. This paper proposes a modular drive system for a dual three-phase PMSM (DTP-PMSM) fed by two separate three-phase inverters, and is suitable for sensitive and highreliable applications. This system employs independent microcontrollers for each inverter. Due to the lack of data exchange between two microcontrollers, an appropriate modeling and control strategy is presented. The motor is modeled in the six-axis stationary reference frame and is controlled based on FOC strategy with employing proportionalresonant (PR) current regulators. A master-slave control strategy ensures torque development coordination between two three-phase windings. imulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
