ADMM-Based Downlink Energy Efficiency Optimization for RSMA in 6G Networks with Hardware Impairments

چکیده :
Rate splitting multiple access (RSMA) is known for multi-antenna multiple access strategy. This approach is based on linear precoded rate splitting (RS), which employs successive interference cancellation (SIC) to partially decode interference. In this paper, a high performance and fast alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) technique is proposed to maximize energy efficiency (EE) in presence of hardware impairment (phase noise and quantization error), problem which contains non-convex constraints. This problem is reformed to non-convex quadratically constrained quadratic programming (QCQP) problem and concatenated to a sub-problem via convex-concave problem (CCP), where each part is a reformulated to an ADMM form with a closed form solution. Numerical results reveal that ADMM-RS achieves better EE results and outperforms the successive convex approximation (SCA) based RS, space division multiple access (SDMA) based on multi-user linear precoding (MU-LP) and non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) based on superposition coding-SIC (SC-SIC). Furthermore, the proposed ADMM-RS method has significant low complexity in comparison to other methods.
