چکیده :
This paper presents a fully distributed and robust secondary control strategy for inverter-based microgrids operating under communication path failures. The objective is to achieve voltage and frequency restoration together with accurate active and reactive power sharing without relying on a centralized controller. A distributed Model Predictive Control (MPC) framework is adopted to enhance dynamic performance while ensuring that operational constraints are satisfied. To enable reliable coordination among Distributed Generation (DG) units, the secondary control layer employs a robust variant of the Relaxed Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers (R-ADMM), which supports asynchronous updates and preserves convergence even when communication links between neighboring units experience temporary outages. The proposed control strategy is validated on a 34-bus microgrid with four inverter-based DG units in MATLAB/Simulink, demonstrating stable operation and satisfactory secondary control performance under adverse communication conditions.
