چکیده :
This paper investigates a wireless system based on a simultaneous transmitting and reflecting reconfigurable intelligent surface (STAR-RIS), in which untrusted energy harvesting nodes wiretap the legitimate signal. The achievable secrecy rate and the harvested energy for multicast communication are calculated as functions of STAR-RIS transmission and reflection coefficients (TARCs). Thus, the non-convex optimization problem is perused in order to maximize the secrecy rate while satisfying the minimum required harvested energies. The optimization problem is converted into a convex problem using the Dinkelbach transformation and semi-definite relaxation approach. Finally, the numerical results are presented to describe the implications of increasing the size of the STAR-RIS and optimizing its TARCs elements on magnifying the secrecy rate and energy harvesting region.
