A Robust Hysteresis-Feedforward Control Approach with High Flexibility for a Single-Inductor Multi-Port DC-DC Converter

چکیده :
Renewable energy systems undergo substantial variations because of their environmental conditions. Therefore, design of a thorough scheme is inevitable to overcome uncertainties during the performance of renewable sources. In this study, a flexible and robust control approach for a single-inductor multi-input multi-output (SI-MIML) high step-up DC-DC converter has been presented. Based on the concepts of non-linear control methods such as hysteresis and feedforward, and also implementation of a simple proportional-integral (PI) controller, a combined approach has been proposed to dampen the input disturbances and compensate for the load uncertainties. The validity of the proposed hysteresis-feedforward (HF) control has been verified by simulation results by MATLAB/Simulink software. In this simulation, various kinds of disturbances such as abrupt failure or variations of input voltages or sudden change of the output load have been investigated. Also, the robustness of the proposed controller against high ripple of input voltages are illustrated in this paper which makes the proposed method an appropriate controller for renewable energy applications.
