چکیده :
In real systems, one of the most vital criteria that assess the efficiency of a nonlinear controller is the transient response. Therefore, a new tuning technique is suggested for the composite nonlinear feedback (CNF) control in this study. In other words, the proposed tuning algorithm optimizes the CNF controller in the case of settling time and overshoot. A linear part and a nonlinear part constitute the CNF control law. On the one hand, the linear portion provides the closed-loop feedback with a quick response and significant overshoot while remaining within the actuator limits during the regulation. The linear feedback law is achieved based on a linear matrix inequality (LMI) minimization problem. On the other hand, the nonlinear feedback law raises the damping ratio in order to remove the overshoot. A novel tuning strategy is developed to enhance transient performance. This online method adjusts parameters automatically rather than trial error and non-automatic approaches. To assess the efficacy of the novel tuning approach, a continuously stirred tank reactor (CSTR) is simulated via MATLAB. The outcomes show that transient performance is enhanced by more than 44% employing the suggested tuning approach.
