A Novel Supervisor Framework Toward Optimizing User Quality of Experience for Video Streaming in Software-Defined Networks

چکیده :
The growing demand for real-time video services has made QoE management a key challenge in Software-Defined Networks (SDNs). Existing methods mainly focus on QoS metrics and overlook user-centric QoE optimization. This study presents a WFPN-based supervisor framework that adaptively improves video QoE while efficiently managing SDN resources. A QoE model using PSNR and MOS guides dynamic resource allocation and traffic prioritization. Simulations show notable improvements, including 25% lower jitter, 15% higher throughput, and PSNR above 34dB. The framework also increases resource efficiency by 20% compared to baseline methods, demonstrating its effectiveness for QoE-driven SDN management.
