چکیده :
In this paper, a rail-to-rail time-domain comparator with ultra-low power consumption is proposed. The proposed comparator employs two techniques to reduce its static power consumption, while also significantly minimizing the short-circuit current in its voltage-to-time converter. Additionally, a voltage generation stage is introduced before the voltage-to-delay converter, which not only provides appropriate input voltages for the delay line but also ensures rail-to-rail operation. The proposed comparator has been post-layout simulated in a 65-nanometer technology under various supply voltages and operating frequencies. Simulation results show that at low frequencies, such as in the range of 100KHz-10MHz the proposed comparator consumes extremely low power, making it highly efficient for low-power applications.
