چکیده :
The reverse osmosis (RO) desalination plant stands out as the most widely utilized among its counterparts, primarily owing to its lower energy consumption compared to other desalination facilities. Given the environmental concerns associated with utilizing fossil fuels to power reverse osmosis, the adoption of renewable energy sources, such as wind, emerges as a viable solution. This paper details the modeling and simulation of a combined system featuring a wind turbine and seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) desalination, executed through MATLAB/Simulink software. The wind speed data is sourced from an island, and the .wind turbine is regulated using the pitch controller method. The performance of this hybrid system is thoroughly examined and discussed
