چکیده :
This research presents a high-voltage gain DC-DC converter with a quadratic-based configuration, designed specifically for applications in DC microgrids. The proffered converter integrates a coupled inductor (CI) with a quadratic boost stage to achieve significant voltage amplification. The voltage gain can be fine-tuned using two primary factors: the duty cycle of the switches and the turn ratio of the two-winding CI, providing greater flexibility in design. Key features of this converter include its high voltage gain, low voltage stress on switching elements, continuous input current, a common ground between input and output, and high efficiency enabled by soft switching of semiconductor components, along with synchronized switch operation. The benefits of this design are highlighted through comparative analysis with related topologies. The performance of the converter is validated through experimental testing on a 300W prototype operating at a 45 kHz switching frequency, with an input of 30V and an output of 360V.
