چکیده :
This study presents a high-voltage gain DC-DC converter with a magnetic core, designed with a quasi-Z-source configuration specifically for DC microgrid applications. The proposed converter utilizes a coupled inductor (CI) paired with a quadratic boost stage to achieve significant voltage step-up. The voltage gain can be regulated by adjusting two primary parameters: the power switch duty cycle and the turn ratio of the dual-winding CI, offering enhanced design flexibility. Key features of this converter include high voltage gain, minimized voltage stress on switching components, a common ground between the input and output, and synchronized operation of switches. The benefits of this configuration are highlighted through comparative analysis with similar topologies. The converter's performance is validated with tests on a 350W prototype operating at a 45 kHz switching frequency, demonstrating an output voltage of 312V from a 24V input.
