چکیده :
In this paper, the design procedure and simulation results of a high efficiency broadband balanced power amplifier (BPA) are reported. Two CGH40010 transistors from Wolfspeed were used as active devices for both branches of balanced power amplifier. The proposed BPA offers drain efficiency of > 63% across the entire bandwidth from 1.2 to 2.45 GHz. The designed BPA offers high output power of 41.5 dBm and 10.2-13.2 dB gain across more than 68% fractional bandwidth. The BPA topology has proven to be a highly effective power amplifier in minimizing voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR). A low VSWR ensures efficient power transfer and minimizes signal reflections. This configuration enhances the amplifier’s stability by reducing the effects of load mismatch, which is crucial in modern communication systems.
