چکیده :
Nowadays, target detection and tracking is considered a crucial necessity. The expansion and increasing complexity of algorithms have led to the development and evolution of detection methods, enabling them to track targets under specific conditions. Meanwhile, the significant advancement in computer technology and the increase in computational power have facilitated the use and implementation of new, complex algorithms in this field. The proposed method consists of two stages: detection and tracking. In the detection phase, the filter based on optimization is improved through precise analysis of edge component criteria. During image filtering, depending on the type of region over which the filter window is placed, the window size and the weights in the filter optimization problem are adaptively adjusted. This improvement achieves effective single-frame detection on images with noisy backgrounds, reducing false alarms significantly compared to existing methods. Additionally, in the tracking phase, to complete the detection process and eliminate the remaining false alarms while tracking targets, a pattern-matching algorithm is used, offering suitable accuracy. The advantage of the proposed method is the low computational load in both target detection and tracking.
