چکیده :
Managing energy and reducing load loss during extreme events in power systems, considering the uncertainty of element failures, presents significant challenges. This paper proposes the use of a Markov chain to predict element failures during extreme events. Optimal proactive optimization is then implemented for various event scenarios. The drawbacks associated with corrective strategies are discussed, emphasizing the importance of employing a proactive approach during such events and highlighting the benefits of system preparation. The IEEE 30 bus system, known for its complex mesh configuration, is used as a case study to demonstrate the method effectiveness. The optimization problem is solved using GAMS software and the CPLEX solver. The obtained results underscore the significance of this approach.
