An Enhanced High Step-Up Z-Source DC-DC Converter Employing Dual Coupled-Inductor Pairs

چکیده :
The growing penetration of renewable energy systems has enhanced the demand for efficient power electronic interfaces. Among these, boost‑type converters play a pivotal role owing to their capability to suppress voltage and current ripples while achieving high conversion gains. In this study, a novel high‑step‑up Z‑source DC–DC configuration incorporating two pairs of coupled inductors is presented. The proposed topology presents a common ground between the input source and the load, and only employs one switch, which simplifies system integration with renewable modules. MATLAB/Simulink implementation of the converter has been carried out for 148 W of power, a 12 V input, and a regulated output of 192 V. Simulation outcomes verify the superior voltage‑boost characteristic and ripple mitigation performance of the developed structure.
